Dr Lendl was born and grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. He recieved his D.D.S. from the University of Maryland, College of Dental Surgery. He continued his training as a Dental Resident, then Chief Resident, at the Baltimore Veteran Administration Hospital's Dental Residency Program. While at the VA, Dr. Lendl furthered his expertise in not only general dental procedures, but also in cosmetic dentistry.

Dr Lendl is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr Lendl is married to Annabella, who is an ER nurse. They have two boys and a girl, Stephen, Roger and Michaela.
